These terms are the rules for using the Old School Cider House website. The house is at 9302 Eastview Lane, New Kent, VA 23140. Using the site means you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.
The menu, the hours, and the calendar
Prices, pours, plates, hours, and events can change. The menu on this site is the board we have published. The kitchen or the bar can still be out of something when you arrive. A photo is a picture of the food, not a promise that today’s plate looks identical.
Ordering and gift cards
Order online and gift cards open Toast. Once you are on that site, Toast’s checkout and their terms apply. A problem with an online order is easiest to fix by calling the house at (804) 799-9058.
Event tickets
A ticket is a seat at the event named on it. Payment is taken by Stripe. The code on the ticket, and the same code in the email, is how we know you paid. Don’t post that code where someone else can use it.
If you can’t come, call the house. If we cancel the event, we will write to the email on the order about what happens next.
In the house
You must be 21 to buy or drink alcohol. We can refuse service. Be decent to the staff, the other tables, and the building. A table, a room, or a party is booked by calling us, not by this website.
A job application is an application, not a job offer. You need to be legally allowed to work in Virginia.
The site itself
The name, the photographs, the menu text, and the design belong to the house. You may share a link. You may not copy the site and use it as your own.
Links to Instagram, Facebook, X, Google Maps, Toast, and Stripe leave this website. We don’t run those sites. Staff tools on this domain are only for people who work here.
We work to keep the site up and the information current. A page can be down, a map pin can be off, and a linked service can fail. The house is not liable for a loss that comes from using those outside services, or from relying on the site when the board at the restaurant is the one that counts that night.
Virginia
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Questions about the site can come to the house in New Kent.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the update.
